The Baaaa-hamas!
We rented two realllllly nice estates for all of us to stay at and to also use as the wedding venue. We can all sleep, eat, swim and poop there. It'll be great. Scroll down to learn some more about where we'll be staying.
Life's a beach...
We will be staying at the Beachwood and Greystone estates in an area known as The Cut. Apparently it's the most exclusive part of the Exumas... who knew, not us that's for sure. The houses are on Little Exuma, which is connected to Great Exuma via a bridge called The Ferry. It's easy to get to since there is one road. It should take you about 30 minutes to get to The Cut from the airport, but it will be 30 minutes of driving next to the most beautiful ocean on the planet. There will also be potholes, like a lot of potholes. Below is a short list with some of the features of the houses and the area, but you can also visit their site to learn even more. If you have any questions just ask Liz.
Private beach
Each house has a private beach. It will probably take you about 20 seconds to walk to the beach each day. We tried to get a place closer to the ocean, but we don't think they exist.
We'll be neighbors
For the most part we will be neighbors. There are two houses in between Greystone and Beachwood, but it's only a few minutes walk down the beach... bummer right?
Infinity pool
Each house has an infinity pool with a view of the ocean. Float around if you get tired of how clear and warm the ocean is.
Plenty of room
The houses each have seven bedrooms, five in each of the main houses and two in each of the detached pool houses. The pool houses also have full bathrooms. So that's 14 bedrooms and a lot of toilets. We think there will be enough room most likely.
Kayaks
There will be sea kayaks there for convenient ocean travel. Take them out and check out some sea turtles.
Pirates
Well not real pirates, but the house is right around the corner from Pirates of the Caribbean beach. Pretty sure you can walk or kayak to it, we hear it's nice.
Other stuff
There's lots of other stuff like volleyball nets, beach chairs, games, etc. Check out the official site for the properties to see pictures and get some more info. www.littleexumarentals.com
